Born on December 19th, 1990, Dave De Vita, born Davide De Vita, stands as a Swiss Italian singer, songwriter, and producer. His musical style seamlessly blends the rhythmic and dreamy facets of Pop Rock with the melodic and universal elements of Pop Music.

In 2020, he marked his solo debut with "This You Deserve," followed by a series of singles in 2021 ("Control," "Thinking About You," and "Drops of Light") leading to the release of his debut EP, "Drops of Light," in November 2021. The journey continued in April 2023 with the first release of the "Montreux Acoustic Session" EP, which was a live version of his 2020 hit "This You Deserve." December 2023 witnessed the unveiling of his latest creation, "Wolves."

In 2019 Dave realised it was time to write a new chapter in his life so he decided to take a more personal path, after many years of enriching experiences with many musical projects.  

Embracing a more independent path, he rebranded under his original artist name 'Dave De Vita' and began self-releasing his own music.

With a Master's Degree in Music (Singing, Performance, and Composition) from the prestigious Music College “HEMU” in Lausanne, Switzerland, Dave brings a solid foundation to his artistic endeavors." 

Despite his youth, Dave boasts over 16 years of invaluable experience in the music industry. His prolific career has seen him excel as a lead singer, both as a bandleader and collaborator, and a skilled songwriter.

It all started with his first band Tipsy Road, in which he was co-founder, lead singer, and co-composer. Between 2008 and 2015 the group released 3 albums and toured Switzerland and Europe.

Dave had a chance to perform for many important events and location (as lead singer, backup singer, and guitar player) also at the Montreux Jazz Festival (seven appearances in five years), the Bierhübeli in Bern, the LAC in Lugano, Théâtre de Vidy in Lausanne, and many more. 

It should be mentioned, in particular, the performance he did in 2018 with and for the renowned artist James Blunt, which was broadcast live on Swiss television (RTS), and for whom, he played guitar and did backing vocals.   

Dave also collaborates with many artists as a Songwriter and Lyricist.  

In 2013-2014 he participated in the TV show The Voice of Switzerland, passing many auditions and reaching the final stages.   

Also, 2018 is the year where he performed as a backup singer for the live project of the Swiss Pop-Folk artist Sebalter, where his compositions (re-arranged and conducted by Emil Spanyi) were played live with the Swiss Italian Orchestra (Orchestra Della Svizzera Italiana).   

Between 2018 and 2020, he collaborated with the Théâtre de Vidy (Switzerland) as Composer, Actor, and Singer, and with the show "Concours Européen de la Chanson Philosophique" he toured Europe for more than a year.  

He is also lead singer and co-composer for Joe Dallas & The Monks, an eclectic Funk project that reunites many awesome musicians from all over Europe. This has also been the resident band for the TV/Radio show  "Rete Tre Show" airing on the Swiss Italian Radio and Television (RSI).   

Not least, Dave has recently collaborated with the French composer Gaspard Colin as co-lyricist and singer for the realization of a song which has just been chosen as the soundtrack of the Youth Olympic Games that took place in Lausanne, Switzerland in 2020. Dave also recorded the song and performed it live during the opening ceremony.  

Dave, together with his new team, is now ready to write a new and crucial chapter in his life. He started to release his own music as a solo artist, music with which he aims to inspire and conquer many hearts. In 2022 he focused on the promotion his new EP Drops of Light (released in November 2021) by doing various concerts in Switzerland and online.

In 2023, Dave De Vita released new music and is currently focused on upcoming projects slated for later this year. Plans for a tour to showcase his latest work are in the pipeline.
